It truly was a sight to see. I had to pull the car over and go out into this field to take the reference photos for this painting.
Colors used:
Cerulian Blue
Veridian
Alizeran Crimson
Cadmium Lemon
White
* I probably used a little bit of Cad Yellow in the field to warm up the grass there in the middle. And I think there might have been a little bit of cobalt or ultramarine blue that snuck in too.
Mostly this painting is a study in warm and cool greens. I paid close attention to values too.
